Perlage officially becomes a “Benefit Society”<\/h1>\n

In December 2019, Perlage’s shareholders’ meeting voted unanimously to adopt new bylaws sanctioning Perlage’s change to “Societ\u00e0 Benefit,” a type of company recognized by Italian jurisdiction that regulates its charitable commitment.This important new step by Perlage enshrines even more strongly and decisively its commitment to social responsibility towards its customers, the market, the local community and its employees. In line with European directives and CO2alition membership, in June 2023 the shareholders’ meeting approved an additional common benefit purpose to formalize the goal of carbon neutrality.Below is an excerpt from the new bylaws<\/p>\n

In 2008, the reform of the EU wine sector came into force, which aims to bring balance to the market, phase out ineffective and costly intervention measures and allocate budgetary resources to more positive and dynamic measures to increase the competitiveness of European wines. In this regard, Perlage has implemented of a series of measures involving the entire wine supply chain from production to processing, marketing and promotion. <\/p>\n

Impact report<\/h2>\n

The Impact Report (Art. 382-383 Law 208\/2015) includes a description of the specific objectives, methods and actions implemented in pursuit of the goals of common benefit, in the reporting year.
