{"id":261561,"date":"2026-03-25T16:26:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T15:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.perlagewines.com\/water-project\/"},"modified":"2026-03-25T16:26:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T15:26:33","slug":"water-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.perlagewines.com\/en\/water-project\/","title":{"rendered":"WATER Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Water sustainability in the vineyard and land regeneration<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The WATER Project was created to address one of the most relevant challenges for hillside viticulture: the responsible management of water resources in a context of climate change.<br \/>\nDeveloped by Perlage and the Agricultural Society 7 Nardi, the project is part of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG territory and UNESCO Core Zone, where environmental fragility, agriculture and tourist use coexist.<br \/>\nThe project focuses on a <strong>catchment<\/strong> area <strong>of about 18 hectares<\/strong>, analyzed as a unique system to apply principles of <strong>circular water economy<\/strong>: slowing runoff, promoting infiltration, retaining the resource in the soil, and reducing erosion phenomena. Water is considered not only as a productive factor, but as a <strong>key element for landscape stability, biodiversity and vineyard resilience.<\/strong><br \/>\nThrough targeted interventions and an integrated reading of the territory, the ACQUA Project experiments with replicable solutions to adapt hillside viticulture to increasingly extreme climatic conditions, while contributing to environmental protection and landscape quality.<br \/>\nIt is a technical and spatial experiment designed to unite <strong>agriculture, climate, biodiversity and usability,<\/strong> and to offer a concrete model of sustainable water management in valuable wine-growing areas. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Progetto ACQUA by Perlage and Societ\u00e0 Agricola 7 Nardi promotes sustainable water management in the hillside vineyards of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, within the UNESCO Core Zone.
