\n<\/span>B Corps are a new type of company that uses the power of its business to create a positive social and environmental impact. B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee. <\/span>
\n<\/span>Perlage has been certified by the nonprofit organization B Lab following a rigorous assessment of its social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. We evaluated our impact across four key areas: employees, community, environment, and governance. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Why did we become a B Corp?<\/span>
\n<\/span>Perlage has always been committed to respecting the environment and the local community, and this certification recognizes and highlights those principles. Being a B Corp drives us toward greater responsibility today, with an eye toward future generations. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Today, there are approximately 2,000 certified B Corps worldwide, and Perlage is among the top 50 Italian companies to have achieved certification, alongside Fratelli Carli, Nativa Lab, and Patagonia. Italy is also the first country in Europe to have legally recognized Benefit Corporations through the legal status of Societ\u00e0 Benefit. <\/span>

\n<\/span>Employee training and very high quality standards.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Engaging with the local community through a variety of cultural and educational initiatives in collaboration with associations and nonprofit organizations.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Transparency at every level and public disclosure of goals and progress made in terms of social and environmental performance.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Being a B Corp is a great source of pride for us, but this is just the beginning\u2014and it motivates us to do our very best for the community and the environment!<\/span>
