What vegan finger foods can be paired?
Some winning choices for your vegan appetizer might be: grain salad and eggless omelet with herbs and wildflowers.
For the former, all you need to do is prepare cold salads made from grains such as spelt, quinoa, barley, bulgur, etc. And dress it up with raw or pan seared seasonal vegetables.
As for the omelet instead: mix some water with chickpea flour (200gr) and extra virgin olive oil, add salt and pepper and let it sit for about ten minutes (the mixture must be liquid). Fry a spring onion with 200gr summer herbs or wildflowers (our choice is dandelion) and then add the latter two to the batter. You’ll then just need to cook the whole thing in a pan just as you would an omelet and at the end of cooking cut everything into chunks for an easy-to-share dish, great for an appetizer with friends.
Consuming organic food and following a diet with lots of fruits and vegetables is synonymous with well-being, but not only that. Being “green” and having an eco-sustainable lifestyle is a winning choice, because it is environmentally friendly and respectful to the society in which we live; moreover, it helps preserve planet Earth for future generations.
