EnoBee. Biodiversity, bees and energy from the sustainability team.

2 min read

EnoBee was born from a simple and concrete question: what can a winery do to regenerate the area in which it operates?
The answer came from nature itself: to foster biodiversity starting with pollinators.

The project fits into the context of our hills, a fragile and valuable agricultural landscape that is also increasingly experienced by those who visit it. Through the planting of melliferous floral mixtures, EnoBee contributes to strengthening the presence of bees and beneficial insects, improving the ecological quality of the area.

EnoBee is also an engagement project. Perlage’s sustainability team directly oversaw seed selection, planting, instructional design, and packaging consistent with company values. Not everything went as planned: in some areas the mix did not take hold, but the plant material was recovered and reused locally as fodder, turning the unexpected into an example of a circular economy.

During the planting period, those who visited the winery or purchased online received a free bag of melliferous seeds. A simple gesture designed to spread awareness and invite everyone to cultivate biodiversity, even in small spaces.

EnoBee is a living project: made of trial and error, observation and continuous improvement. An alliance between wine, land, bees and people, which is built over time.
