Red Medal for Tiziano Nardi – Cuvée del Fondatore Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG
The Wine Hunter Awards is an annual event that recognizes the finest Italian and international wines, as judged by industry professionals such as sommeliers, bartenders, journalists, and wine enthusiasts.
The coveted award is available in the following categories, ranked in order of score: “The Wine Hunter Awards ROSSO” with a score ranging from 90 to 92.99 and “The Wine Hunter Awards GOLD” with a score ranging from 93 to 95.99.
A leading figure in this quest for excellence is Helmuth Köcher, founder of the world-renowned Merano Wine Festival, which has been exclusively hosting top-quality wineries from around the globe since 1992.
Intensity, complexity, elegance, raw materials, sustainability, and regional character are the criteria evaluated during the tasting.
Out of 8,000 wines tasted, only 4,032 received the Wine Hunter award, including 1,263 that won the GOLD medal and 2,769 that received the RED award. Among the latter is the newest addition to the Perlage family: Tiziano Nardi – Cuvée del Fondatore Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
A wine with low sugar content (< 2 g/l), straw-yellow in color with aromas reminiscent of pear, citrus, and rose, featuring subtle and elegant bubbles that impart a pleasant savory note and minerality on the palate.
