Sustainability Project – Biodiversity

3 min read

ENOBEE – A BLOSSOMING ALLIANCE BETWEEN WINE, BIODIVERSITY AND POLLINATORS ?
There are projects that are born from an intuition and then grow like sprouts under the sun. EnoBee is one of them: an initiative that weaves together care for the landscape, respect for pollinators and care for those who choose wine with awareness.

We started with a simple question: what can we do together as a winery to regenerate our host territory?

The answer came from nature itself: more flowers, more bees, more life.

A PROJECT THAT STARTS FROM THE GROUND UP

To celebrate World Bee Day , we chose to make our commitment visible by planting a mix of melliferous essences in our winery areas and spreading it to our customers. It is not just a symbolic gesture: it is a way to make the landscape more hospitable to bees and pollinating insects, encourage biodiversity and, at the same time, enrich the environment in which our wine is born.
Bees are a silent but fundamental presence in the wine supply chain: without them, many of the plants that nourish our ecosystem could not reproduce. Honey bees, in particular, are even able to “repair” grape berries damaged by birds or insects.
Taking care of them means taking care of the quality, the future and the beauty we try to protect every day.

THE ENERGY OF THE SUSTAINABILITY TEAM

EnoBee is not only an environmental project: it is also a human project.
Our Sustainability Team worked passionately on planting the floral mix, preparing the seed bags, defining the design, planting instructions, and choosing sustainable packaging. Every detail was thought out to provide an authentic experience consistent with our values.
Unfortunately, not all donuts come with a hole: in some farm areas weeds got the better of us and the mix did not establish itself as hoped. But nothing is lost: a local farmer harvested the cut and will use it as fodder for his animals. A small example of circular economy in action.
In the meantime, we are preparing a small giveaway dedicated to you who will attend our events, because we believe that awareness is cultivated from an early age.

A SEED FOR YOU
From May 20 until August 20-an ideal time for planting the EnoBee mix-those who visit us at the winery or place an online order will receive a free bag of melliferous seeds.
This is our way of saying thank you to those who share our vision: gentle viticulture, which puts life, not just production, at its center.
We invite you to plant them wherever you like: in the garden, in a pot on the windowsill, in a shared space. Each flower that blooms will be a gesture of care, a signal for the bees, a concrete trace of the biodiversity we are cultivating together.

Because wine is born not only from the work of man, but from a broader alliance that deserves respect, listening and poetry.
