Another step forward toward sustainability!

Starting in February, the silicone-coated backing of our bottle labels will also be recycled.
Perlage has joined the innovative RafCycle recycling program run by the Finnish company UPM Raflatac.
The recovery service is provided by the Italian company LCI Srl, based in Treviso, which sends the silicone-coated paper rolls to the UPM paper mill in Plattling, Germany.
Here, the used silicone-coated substrates are “desiliconized” to be transformed into new cellulose, which will become new UPM paper.

This concrete initiative will improve Perlage’s environmental performance in terms of recycled waste and CO2 emissions.
