Plastic Free Vineyard

1 min read

Together toward a plastic-free vineyard

The Vineyard Plastic Free project was born out of an inescapable urgency: to eliminate the use of plastic in the vineyard wherever possible, experimenting with alternatives, monitoring results and sharing data with those who, like us, are involved in sustainable agriculture. It is about looking with scientific and operational honesty at what is really needed and how we can reduce waste and material impacts.

With technical partners and Cerletti Institute students, we have mapped flows, measured plastics in soils and tested alternative solutions that maintain operational efficiency in the field while reducing plastic use. It is a pragmatic and replicable approach that aims to generate useful knowledge beyond our company.
