In the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia takes shape Iconis, Manzoni Bianco Trevenezie IGT born from vines tended with patience for more than 20 years.
Dedicated to Claudio Nardi, founding partner of Perlage and visionary soul of its technological evolution, Iconis is a gesture of gratitude to the man who has guided the winery since its inception. The grapes, hand-selected between late August and early September, follow the slow path of long Charmat, without dosage. The wine rests more than nine months on the lees, refining a fine, calm texture. The production-just 4,000 bottles-holds aromas of tropical fruit and pineapple in syrup, while notes of candied cedar and an elegant nuance of licorice emerge on the palate.

Ideal for tasty appetizers such as crostini with lard. As first courses we offer substantial dishes such as carbonara and amatriciana. Also perfect paired with rich main courses such as barbecued eel, fried blue fish and lamb chops.

For those who choose a vegetarian option, Iconis pairs perfectly with dishes such as eggplant parmigiana, truffle poached egg, and pasta alla Nerano. For a vegan option, ideal pairings include eggplant babaganoush, eggplant burger, and potato and onion soup.
