Col di Manza receives the TheWineHunter Award ROSSO Certificate of Excellence

We are pleased to announce that our COL DI MANZA Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato has received TheWineHunter Award ROSSO certificate of excellence.

The WineHunter Award is the prize for excellence and high quality associated with the Meran WineFestival. The award is presented annually to wine and culinary products, spirits, and beers. It is given to national and international products that, following a careful evaluation, achieve a minimum score of 88 out of 100, guaranteeing the end consumer the product’s superior quality.

There are numerous evaluation criteria: intensity, complexity, elegance, extraordinary character, raw materials, tradition, sustainability, professionalism, artisanal production, native grape varieties, and terroir. The evaluation that follows is based on visual, olfactory, and gustatory criteria in accordance with the standards set by the UIOE (International Union of Oenologists) and the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine).

The award-winning Col di Manza embodies the very essence of excellence; it is an organic Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry Millesimato that captures the magic of the hillside setting and the quality of a product deeply rooted in its native land. Col di Manza is made from grapes grown using biodynamic methods. Biodynamic viticulture is based on the principle that earthly and cosmic forces must act in perfect balance and harmony, while human activity must preserve the soil’s biodiversity so that the vine can grow healthy and strong.
The result of this careful attention is a sparkling wine with a harmonious and velvety flavor, mineral in character with floral aromas and a sweet hint of peach and white wisteria.
